The MBDA San Antonio MBDA Export Center’s staff are Global Business Professionals experienced in international trade that are ready to guide you through the export process. As a client, they will assist you with critical international business know-how. Our Team will work diligently to introduce you to a network of global contacts encompassing the U.S. and foreign trade promotion agencies, trade associations, chambers of commerce, and a diverse number of economic institutions and private entities who can provide in-country opportunities and intelligence to help you succeed.

    • Director of the San Antonio MBDA Export Center
    • Alberto has spent his entire professional and academic careers in the field of international business development and marketing. His work experience spans from large global corporations to small businesses; private and public organizations; as well as non-profit and for-profit companies. Alberto earned his MBA at the University of Nebraska. Alberto is also a CGBP (Certified Global Business Professional), CGBP trainer (sole trainer in the State of Texas), ECoP (Export Compliance Professional), CBC (Certified Business Consultant), and a member of the NASBITE International Board of Governors.

    • Jesus Mario González
    • Senior International Business Developer
    • Results-oriented Senior Executive and Independent Consultant with experience leading world-class global organizations and private investment groups.

      He has held corporate leadership roles in Finance, Procurement, and Strategic Planning.

      Currently working with the MBDA Business Center (US Department of Commerce -UTSA) as Senior International Business Consultant, helping minority companies to find new commercial opportunities in the global markets with an emphasis in Latin America.

      Earned an M.P.A (Master in Professional Accounting) from The University of Texas at Austin and MBA from Monterrey Tech (ITESM)

    • Jose A Munoz
    • Project Manager – Mexico, San Antonio MBDA Export Supplemental Program
    • He is a professional with 25 yrs. experience in the International Trade and Logistics field. He is credited for building good relations between Government and Companies necessary for the implementation of complex programs. Substantial experience in Transportation, Warehousing, and Export Compliance.

      Business and Marketing degree from Monterrey Tech (ITESM - Tecnologico de Monterrey). A Degree from the South of France in European Business and International Marketing. An MBA in International Business from The University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX.

      Previous work experience including a Mexican Customs Brokers company, the Retail industry with HEB Co., and Institutional such as the North American Development Bank (NAD Bank). The goal has always been about helping clients be successful in their Global Business Strategy and manage through a dynamic environment.

    • Alberto Flores Madero with a Mechanic and Electric major and an EMBA from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

      I have been working as a consultant and business entrepreneur with 18 years of corporate executive life with over 20 years of experience in the business world areas, such as commodities(cotton, coffee, cocoa, hugs, and grains), retail, produce and Healthcare business.

      Joined this great MBDA team in San Antonio, TX last June 1st focusing on Central American countries.

      I have always been highly commended on my skills in driving process improvement, forming teams whose efforts have saved the organization hundreds of thousands of dollars, and redesigned sources and supply chain procedures to materialize in opportunities for the enterprises work on, which I am looking forward to getting in place opportunities of the new challenges the world has in front with the MBDA muscle.

    • Peter has built a 20-year international career spanning 5 continents beginning with humanitarian and economic development work with several non-governmental and inter-governmental organizations. After acquiring his MBA, Peter migrated into the private sector, working at various levels of business management and consulting in corporate America and with small businesses. Eventually, his work had taken him into academia and public service. Joining the MBDA export center has been a continuation of Peter's work with firms, industry groups, domestic and international organizations in expanding American prominence in international trade and economic development.

    • International Business Development Specialist
    • Edgar Alarcon has spent his entire career in business development and sales. He has positioned products and services throughout Latin America and the Caribbean for companies of various sizes and industries. He is excited to help American exporters exceed their goals.

      Edgar attended Texas A&M University, where he obtained a BS and an MS in Agricultural Economics, with emphasis on real estate and entrepreneurship. Additionally, he is constantly studying finance and real estate trends.
